Happy New year!
Here we are! 2018!
2017 was a pretty amazing year for me, after living together for over a year my other half and I brought our first house together. A couple if months later we got a puppy and then in October he proposed! A lot of faulting milestones right there!
Now that it’s 2018 I can officially say, I’m getting married this year! I’m super excited but so much to do and not a lot of time to do it. I was quite content to have a long engagement but the fiance wanted to get married the next year. We have booked the venue and paid the deposit so I have 11 months to loose 2-3 stone.
I haven’t picked a dress or even know what style I want to go for yet, I’ll probably decide this when I start trying stuff on.
So here’s the plan…. get my ass back to slimming world, get back on the pole and pick up a high intensity interval training program.
I’ve been doing slimming world for about 2 years now but i have to admit I’m very lazy about it, now is the time to get my head in the right place and focus. By the way, I lost 2 pounds over Xmas, mwahaha!
I’ve developed my pole dancing program so I can focus on routines, back bends and splits evenly throughout the week.
I have also purchased the BODY BOSS HIIT program. This is a 4 week program followed by a 12 week formal program. Tonight I took my starting pictures, weighed myself and took various measurements around my body, I’m not ready to post actual numbers yet or the photos, but i hope that posting weekly updates will keep me on track.
I have also set myself 3 health related new years resolutions, all achievable I believe. Drink at least 1 litre of water a day, by this I mean unflavoured natural eater, not fizzy, flavoured or coke.
Have at least one vegetarian meal a week.
Try a new recipe every week.
I’m feeling really positive this year and can’t wait to see the results!
